Vicky Ann Riddle Millett, 80, of Fredonia, Arizona passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024 at home after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her four children.
She was born August 28, 1943 in Annabella, Utah and was the daughter of Theone and Mary Beth Riddle. Siblings include Nikki Dawn, Brent (Jeanette) Riddle, Blair (Mel) Riddle, and Blake (Kathy) Riddle.
Vicky married Richard Stout Millett on February 4, 1961. They later divorced. Together they had 4 children; Christy (Alan) Manda, Judy (Scott) Kenefick, Shawn (Melinda ) Millett, and Shane (Jennifer) Millett. She had 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great, greatgranchild.
On May 24, 2012 she married Carl Edward Hollingsworth bringing in 4 step children to the family; Carl (Fran) hollingsworth, Sherry (Shane) Stubbs, Raymond Miner & Johnny (Lori) Miner wit many additional grandchildren. Vicky was proceeded in death by her mother, father, husband Ed, brothers Brent and Blake, sister Nikki and other family members.
Vicky worked many years for Sinclair gas stations making many friends. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints where she was so proud to be able tofullfill her life long dream of going to the temple and getting sealed to her parents.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Zions Way Hospice for keeping her comfortable and giving us the guidance needed to take care of her in her last days. To MaryAnn Cluff and Sandra Robinson for being great friends and checking on her and especially to Johnny Miner for giving rides to her appointments and checking on her so she could stay in her home.
There will be a viewing for Vicky on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 from 6 to 7 PM at Mosdell Mortuary 676 South Highway 89A in Kanab.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Vicky’s family. I have known the family for almost 60 years. I feel very blessed to know Vicky.
