Todd Spendlove was born on February 27, 1963, in St. George, Utah, the first son of Waldo and Winnie Spendlove. He grew up in Fredonia, Arizona, where he became a familiar and well-loved face. Todd was known by many and will be remembered by even more.
Todd had a personality that was impossible to forget. He loved people, loved to laugh, and had a special gift for making others laugh – whether they were laughing with him or at him! He had a way of making ordinary moments memorable.
One of Todd’s most special qualities was his love for children. He took the time to play with them, get down on their level, and make them feel special. He never seemed too busy to share a moment with a child.
Todd was a talented machinist and took pride in his work. He especially enjoyed the years he spent working alongside his younger brothers, Marty and Clinton. The three shared a close bond that went beyond being brothers. They were not only family but also coworkers and friends, and the time they spent together will always be treasured.
Some of Todd’s favorite memories were made outdoors, riding four-wheelers at the sand dunes with his dad and brothers. Those adventures, the laughter, and the time spent together as a family were moments he truly enjoyed.
Todd was preceded in death by his beloved son, Chace, and his mother, Winnie.
He leaves behind his son Cody Sargent and daughter Caiti Claus(Justin); his beloved granddaughters, Winnie and Stella Claus; his father, Waldo; his older sister, Teresa; his younger sister, Suzanne; and his younger brothers, Marty and Clinton. He also leaves behind many friends whose lives were touched by his humor, friendship, and unmistakable personality.
Todd will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His laughter, his stories, his love for children, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Todd may be gone, but the laughter he brought into this world, the friendships he made, and the love he shared will never be forgotten.
