Thomas Andrew Luna, 32, of Kanab, Utah, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022, in the presence of his loving wife, Chelsea Luna.
Tom was born in North Babylon, New York, on January 24, 1992, to Michael Luna and the late Eileen Luna. Tom spent the first years of his life in Long Island, New York. At age 17, he moved to Kanab, Utah, where he met the love of his life, Chelsea Brinkerhoff. According to Tom, the first moment they locked eyes, it was an immediate “zing,” and they were inseparable after that moment. They married on November 20, 2010. And together had three beautiful children who were the center of their world. Tom was a loving father who loved spending time with his children and sharing his passions with them. He enjoyed teaching his children through experience and example.
Tom was a talented musician, artist, and all-around handyman. He loved spending time outdoors and in the hills of Kane County. Tom was an honest and hard-working man. He found joy in his work at Wild Thyme café among his family. More than anything, Tom loved his children and his many nieces and nephews.
The day Tom took his last breath, his previous decision to be a full donor saved three lives by transplanting his heart, kidneys, and liver. His decision to be a donor will benefit thousands of people. This selfless act continues to be a comfort to his family.
