He enjoyed teaching his children through experience and example.

He found joy in his work at Wild Thyme café among his family. More than anything, Tom loved his children and his many nieces and nephews.

The day Tom took his last breath, his previous decision to be a full donor saved three lives by transplanting his heart, kidneys, and liver. His decision to be a donor will benefit thousands of people. This selfless act continues to be a comfort to his family.
