Shirley LaVon Torgerson, age 83, died September 30, 2026 at her home in Fredonia, Arizona.  She was born February 24, 1943 in Marysvale, Utah to Lucy Howes and Heber L Allred.  She married Redell Torgerson on June 4, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  They had 6 children.

Shirley is survived by her children, Tina, Paul Torgerson, Jim Torgerson, Jerry Torgerson, Cindy, and Chad Torgerson; 16 Grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 5 and ½ great, great-grandchildren, 6 sisters, and 2 brothers.  She was preceded in death by her husband Redell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 11 AM (UT Time) in the Fredonia Arizona LDS Church, with viewings Friday, October 9, from 6-7:00 PM (UT Time), and Saturday, October 10, from 10:00-10:45 AM (UT Time) , both at the Fredonia Chapel.  Burial will be in the Howe Family Cemetery  in Marysvale, Cemetery later that day.  Arrangements were made with Mosdell Mortuary.
