Scott Jensen King returned to his Heavenly Father on January 15, 2019 after a battle with dementia and complications from an automobile accident. He was born September 23, 1936 to William Frank King and Lueen Young Jensen King in Salt Lake City, Utah. The family moved to Las Vegas when the children were young and started a flower shop near downtown Las Vegas.

Scott is preceded in death by his father, William Frank King; his mother, Lueen Young Jensen King; one brother, Kent William King; and one sister, Katharine Florence Bramwell. He is survived by one sister, Gayle Lueen Close; his wife, Gloria King; son, Scott Wesley King and his wife Kathryn Olivia Baer; daughters, Candace Josephine Lyman and Ashlyn Joy Foster; and stepson, Randy Moore; his 9 grandchildren, Scott Wesley King Jr., James Jensen king, Jennifer Aslyse King, Anna Olivia King, Joshua Porter King, Sarah Elizabeth King, William Young Sandquist King, Bradly Scott Lyman, and Nicholette Lyman; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Scott worked for Las Vegas Building Materials and then Golden Nugget/Mirage Resorts for almost 30 years. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. We love you Bumpa King!

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the LDS Chapel located at 5100 Sun Valley Drive, Las Vegas, NV.
