With great sadness, we announce the passing of Sara Lynn Vogel Barney, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 50 on April 24th, 2026, in Page, Arizona
Sara was born on March 18th, 1976, to Lynn and Albert Leslie Vogel Jr. in Yuma, Arizona. She later moved to Page, Arizona, in 1980. She graduated from Page High School in 1994, where she continued her education at Yavapai College. Shortly after, she had her first son, Tavis Peak. Seven years later, she would marry the love of her life, Anthony James Barney, on April 19th, 2002. They would then have their two children, Grace Lynn and Caden James Barney. AJ and Sara are proud business owners of Page Muffler & Automotive, providing a service for the community for many years. Sara was a beautiful person on the inside and out, with a heart so big she wanted to help anyone she came across. She could talk forever, and she always knew how to make people feel cared for and heard. She was such a fun and vibrant personality and was truly gravitating to be around. If you knew Sara, you loved Sara, always leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed.
Sara is survived by: Her husband, Anthony; Children Tavis Peak, Grace and Caden Barney; Mother,Lynn Vogel, Brother, Jim Boswell (Isabella and Arianna ), and their beloved cats (Lola, Mika, Nina, and Bugs).
She was proceeded in death by: father Albert Leslie Vogel Jr; brother Chris Vogel; stepfather Jim Arnold.
Services will be held On May 9th, 2026 at the LDS Stake Center, 1301 N. Navajo Dr., Page, AZ with a viewing from 10:00 – 11:00 AM and service from 11:00 – 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at The Barnyard, 643 Haul Rd., Page, AZ starting at 2:00 PM.
My heart breaks! Sara was s beautiful soul. Wrapping my arms around sweet Grace, and all her loved ones!
She was a woman of remarkable beauty, but more remarkable was the beauty of her soul, She will be missed.

We are so sad to have learned of Sara’s passing. We considered her a niece. Jim Arnold is our brother and Lynn our sister in law. Sara was always kind and loving to us and we are grateful for the time spent with her here in Page as well as at the big cabin on Boulder Mt. last fall. Sara has a warm personality and loved her family deeply. She will be missed.by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Now she joins family and friends who passed on before. We love you Sara!!
