Sandra D. Kniss, age 77, passed away at her home in Kanab, Utah on November 1, 2021. She was born Sept. 19, 1944 in Ely, Nevada to Ruth Marston and Gilbert Vizina. She married Richard John Kniss on December 13, 1991 in Murray, Utah. Throughout her life, she loved to travel back to her Nevada Desert where she was raised.
Survivors include her husband Richard; children Kimberly Case, Kelly Douglas, DeRay McPhie and Shane McPhie; sister Harriet Jones; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Marston McVey, and father Gilbert Vizina; and three brothers, Carl Bishop, Gerald Bishop, and Royce Vizina.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was arranged with Mosdell Mortuary.

She was one of the Greatest Women I’ve ever come into Contact with! She Always Told it like it was . Never Telling a B.S. Story . If She Liked You, she would let you Know , if she Didn’t, She told you Point Blank ! She was one of the Coolest people I’ve ever Known, besides being Great ! She would do anything for just about everything and everyone, if she thought they deserved it ? Sandy Your going to be Missed by Hundreds ! 💕
