Roy Estrada Romero, a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age of 64, peacefully in his home in Glendale, Utah. Roy, the son for Juan and Maria Romero, was born on January 13,1960 in Carlsbad, New Mexico where he was raised along with his 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
A few years after graduating high school Roy would marry Sandra Beck, enlist in the Army where he served for 2 years. Roy and Sandra had 3 beautiful children, April Beck, Paul Romero and Daniel Romero. After 22 years of being married Roy and Sandra would divorce but remain very close friends.
Roy was a amazing artist, making beautiful drawings and painting’s. He loves to cook and made sure anyone in his home did not go without food in their belly. Roy loved all sports, especially football. You could usually find him on Sunday watching the Cowboy’s game with his loved ones.
Roy moved to Utah 10 years ago and lived with his son, Paul and lived close to his son Daniel and best friend Sandra. This would be his final home where he made lots of friends that he loved and cared about. Roy would do anything for his friends and family and would be the first person to give up his shirt to anyone that needed it.

He was loved by many and will be missed deeply.
