Ronald Homer

Ronald Homer passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning Sunday, July 24. Ronald was born September 17, 1967 in Tuba City, Arizona to Kee and Ruth John Homer. Ronald was the middle of 11 children two whom passed away early. Due to the Kee’s occupation as a migrant worker the family relocated to Beryl, Utah were he attended elementary school until 1982. After the family relocated to Fredonia, AZ. Ron attended Fredonia high school for a short time. In the mid 90’s Ron moved in with his sister in St. George Utah. Ron was loved and adored as the fun uncle to his young nephews.
In 2000 Ronald got introduced to Sherma Redfoot. They started dating then shortly welcomed a baby girl in 2001 Kiyaa-aanni Ann Homer. Then once again welcome a baby boy in 2004 Ron Thomas Homer (Windstorm). Ronald continued his relationship for many years raising his children as well as caring for her two older children Kristina and Lonnie. Ronald had a strong work ethic holding many general labor jobs from working with George McCormick to Warners. He had a long labor career at Cabinet Tec, roofing, and lastly housekeeping worker at Seasons Rehabilitation Center for five years. Due to many years of manual labor Ron sustained spinal disk problems. Ronald will be extremely missed he was funny, generous, caring and hard-working. Ronald enjoyed camping, fishing, barbecuing taking road trips. Most of all family time with his grand babies. Playing the machines in Mesquite with his spouse and can’t forget his love for the Denver Broncos.
Proceeding in death father Kee D. Homer, brother Willard, one infant brother and one infant sister. Survived by spouse Sherma Redfoot, Children; Kristina Redfoot, Lonnie Redfoot, Kiyaa-aanni Ann Homer, Ron Thomas Homer (Windstorm), 2 Grandsons, 4 granddaughters mother Ruth Homer, siblings, Kee Tsosie Jr, Margaret, Wynema (Dana),Oliver (Dora), Orville (Vernita), Sunny (Louise), Genevieve (Willie), and Jennifer & many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10:00 Arizona Standard Time at the Tachiini Cemetery in Hidden Springs, Arizona.
