Funeral services for River Henderson will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020, at a family gathering at the her home, which will be livestreamed. There will be an open public viewing from 1:00-7:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2020, at Mosdell Mortuary for those who would like to be able to come say goodbye and sign the register book. The staff at Mosdells will be encouraging social distancing, so please be prepared to wait in your vehicle for a minute as we usher people through.
The Henderson family is so grateful to the wonderful communities we live in for the support and love that has been shown. The arrangements that have been made are to recognize the support of the community while keeping people safe. Our love and prayers go out to the family and friends of this sweet angel girl. How we all love River. What an example of purity, kindness, gentleness, and strength she has been to all of us. We pray that you will feel the loving arms of our Savior around you to comfort and bring peace to your hearts. We know that sweet River is with our Savior, enjoying his love and presence in her life. Her pain and suffering is gone. Her joy is full. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she wasn’t becoming fast friends with our sweet angel Emily who passed away when she was 14. Along with you, we will look forward to the day when we will reunite with those we love so much. Thank you for your strength through this trying time, and for demonstrating through your faith what it is like to have true courage, and how to respond to the challenges and trials of life.
