Penne LeDuc

Penne B. LeDuc passed away in her home in Kanab, Utah on February 9, 2025 after a long illness. She was born Beverly Lynn Billington on March 18, 1939 in Corona, Calif. She was nicknamed “Penne” for her copper red hair that matched her fiery personality. She spent most of her childhood in Kanab, Utah where her parents owned the local filling station.
Penne was beloved by her family. Whether it was teaching them how to hunt nightcrawlers or catch snakes, she was always just Grandma. We all treasured her honest “Take me or leave me” way. You always knew where you stood with Grandma…deeply loved and treasured…no matter where you were or what was going on in your life.
Mom’s greatest legacy was her family: 3 children, 15 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herschel and Anna Penney Billington, husband Russell LeDuc, daughter Kelly LeDuc Todd, and 2 grandchildren Angelina and Theresa. She is survived by sons Craig (Raina) LeDuc and Keith LeDuc, and her remaining posterity.
Cremation arrangements were made with Mosdell Mortuary.

I am glad that I got to know her when I work with her at the old Kanab senior center. She was so fun to be around and I am going to miss her and her hugs
