Neil Adair

On April 22, 2018 Neil Brinkerhoff Adair, age 66, passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Neil was born March 12, 1952 in Panguitch, Utah, the fourth child of Golda Brinkerhoff and Webster Adair. He attended schools in Orderville, graduating from Valley High School. After high school he worked in Salt Lake City and then he moved to Las Vegas where he met and married Linda Thomas. They were parents of one son, Christopher Shane. They were later divorced. Neil was the proud grandfather of two, Johanna and Christopher James and he had two great grandchildren. He dearly loved his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. All these children had a special place in his big heart.

After living and working in Las Vegas for years, he bought Tod’s Store where he loved the people and their children on Cedar Mountain. Haylei Kersey had a special place in his heart and life.

After selling Tod’s he went to work for Verjean Caruso, in the Kane County Recorder’s Office. Due to his illness, he retired from there in 2017, leaving behind many friends and coworkers. He enjoyed the work and helping people locate their property.

He is survived by his son Christopher, daughter-in-law Blanca, their children and grandchildren and his siblings Wilda (Weston) Ball, Wayne (Jackie), Cheryl, and Brad (Donna) and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

The family would like to thank Dr. Te and his staff for their care, and are also grateful for his many friends for their help.

In lieu of flowers, please do an act of kindness or a good deed in honor of Neil, who was always willing to help all people.
