NanNell Robertson

NanNell Smith Brown Robertson, 84, died on June 28, 2023 in Ogden, Utah. Born on April 22, 1939 in Kanab, Utah to Doyle and Willma Smith. She married Gary Scott Brown on January 27, 1956 later divorcing in 1980. She then met Harmon “Boon” Robertson and fell in love, marrying on January 1, 1991.

NanNell had a dynamic personality and was very determined. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a great cook who loved serving others. She was boldly patriotic and took time to honor her pioneer ancestors. NanNell was proud of her family and would take any opportunity to tell you about the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Monica Lynne Davis of West Jordan, Utah; Gina Marie Lynch (Rick) of Ogden, Utah and Mich’el Woodbury (Dean) of Richfield Utah, Stepson & stepdaughter, Scott Robertson (Kristin) of Nephi, Utah & Cindy Michie (Michael) of Overland Park, Kansas, 6 Grandsons: Kevin Lynch, Danny Lynch, David Shaffer, Jacob Woodbury, Robert Crose, and Carson Jones; 6 Granddaughters: Lisa Davis, Lori Davis, Jessica Davis, Shera George, Erin Jones & Justine Crose, 13 great grandchildren: Alex Davis Quintero, Kaitlyn Lynch, Kiley Lynch, Cheyenne Lynch, Bailee Lynch, Cooper Lynch, Kaycee Roberts, Kooper Roberts, Kayston Shaffer, Kaydence Shaffer, Kayzlynn Crose, Kayne Crose, & Miller Jones. She also had many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews that she loved so much.

NanNell was preceded in death by both husbands, Gary Brown and Harmon “Boon” Robertson, sister, Anna Marie Raban, and a son-in-law Casey Davis.

Funeral Services will be at the Kanab North Stake Center on July 8, 2023. There will be a viewing at 12 noon with funeral to follow at 1pm. Interment will be at the Kanab City Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
