Madge Brady Ford, our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024, in Fredonia, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 14, 1937, in Fairview, Utah, to her parents Warren L. and Catherine Cambron Brady. Madge attended North Sanpete High School and BYU. Born with a heart of gold, Madge dedicated her life to serving others and exemplifying Christlike love in all she did. Her thoughtfulness and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Madge met our father, Delano Frost Ford, and they were married on May 17, 1958, in the Manti LDS Temple. Madge and Delano went on to raise five wonderful daughters who were the very center of her world. She was so proud of her five daughters and she cheered them on throughout every step of their lives. Whenever we needed her, she was there. At every turn in life, her children came first, without exception. She was a constant source of strength and she celebrated their successes as her own. She was always there to uplift and encourage them in their times of need. Her selfless love and tireless devotion to her family were her greatest gifts, and her daughters will forever cherish the example she set as a loving, nurturing mother. She poured her heart and soul into being a wonderful mom and she cherished every moment spent with her daughters and their families. She was happiest being surrounded by a houseful of family members visiting, laughing, and being together. Our mom was a wonderful seamstress and the quilts and blankets she created for all of the members of our family are among our greatest treasures.
She is survived by her five daughters: Kathleen (Tracy) Curtis of Murrieta, CA, Kimberly (Terry) Blake of Kanab, UT, Melinda (Richard) Huntsman of Cedar City, UT, Kristin (Geoff) Campbell of Queen Creek, AZ, and Keri Gillespie of St. George, UT. Her beloved grandchildren: Melissa (Dave), Mandy (Rick), Kelsie (Peter), Kalin (Tia), Delaney (Michael), Kennedie, Kierra (Kieran), Mason, Hayley (Nick), Kaitlyn (Ben), Taylor (Tyler), Ty, Josh, Bailey, Aidan, Emily, bonus grandkids Sriram (Sruthi), and 8 (almost 9) great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Marilyn Fillerup. Madge was a proud grandmother and her positive impact on her children and grandchildren will be felt for generations to come.
Madge was preceded in death by her husband Delano, her parents, and siblings LaGrand and Lavon. Also preceded in death grandson Austin and son in law, Trent.
Madge’s life was a testament to the gospel principles she held dear. She found great joy in serving in various callings within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her faith and commitment to her Savior were unwavering, and she leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and service. Throughout her life, our mom frequently said that all of the very best things in her life were made possible because of the blessings of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mother will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Madge was as beautiful inside as she was outside. She was a good friend to me and I loved and admired her very much. She loved her girls and grandkids so much, always bragging about them and the love they shared. We will all miss Madge and her sense of Humor and kindness.

We love you Madge from the old Moab Neighborhood ❤️❤️❤️❤️ RIP Madge And Never Forgotten
The family did such a beautiful job honoring your Mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother. Sharing your loving memories was such a gift to those of us who didn’t have the opportunity to live those precious moments or share in those years. It was an honor to be able to attend from afar – not the same as a hug but still felt the love.
