Lois Jean Chaplin, loving mother and grandmother passed away on June 7^th, 2019 in Kanab, Utah at the age of 83.

Lois was born on August 20, 1935 in Randsburg, CA to Walter Eugene Stoneking and Ruth Chambers Stoneking. She was raised in Delta, Utah by her father and step-mother, Lola and graduated from Hinckley High School in 1953. She moved to California and soon married Donald Eugene Chaplin in October, 1954. Together they raised one daughter, Judi.

Lois worked alongside her husband, Don, as the owners of their own motorcycle sales and repair shops. She spent many weekends riding her BMW motorcycle with her family and friends to places all over California. She was also an avid and inspired crafter, a love she passed on to her daughter. She and Don moved to Kanab, Utah in 1975.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her father and mother, Walter and Ruth; stepfather, Randy and stepmother Lola; and brother, Carl.

She is survived by her daughter, Judi Streano (Anthony); grandchildren, Christopher and Chelsea; sister, Helen and brother, Gary.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Eternal Hills Mortuary – 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside CA, 92054. Flowers may be sent to same address.
