Kendall A Tait, age 80, died on Aug. 31, 2020. He was born Feb 26, 1940 in Mt Carmel, UT to Berneeta Allred and Lindsay C. Tait. He was one of 9 children and spent his childhood in Mt Carmel.On June 23, 1962 he married Verlee Hassell in Las Vegas. They spent most of their lives in Orderville, raising their six children.
Kendall started driving log trucks at the age of 19. He spent the rest of his time as a long haul truck driver with numerous rewards for miles driven. He retired off the road in 2016, but continued to drive local until his death. Kendall was a good welder and worked as such fixing and building things for customers and friends. He loved the outdoors especially hiking and camping.
Kendall is survived by his 5 children; Forrest (Cay) Tait, Vernal, UT; Tony (Laurene) Tait, Glendale, UT; Angie (David) McAlevy, Grand Island, NE; Kasey Gilmore, Mt Carmel, UT; Travis (Tracey) Tait, Astoria, OR; Tami Thompson, Orderville, UT; 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, his wife, 1 grandson, 2 great grandchildren and 1 son-in-law.

Services will be at the Old Rock Church in Mt Carmel on Tuesday, Sept 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM. There will be a viewing on Monday evening from 6-8 pm and Tuesday at 9:00 am. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
