Karma Lamb

Karma Riding Lamb, age 72, of Kanab, Utah, earned her wings on February 8th, 2021 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.  Karma was born March 28, 1948 in Panguitch, Utah, to Robert and Elsa Riding.  Karma grew up in St. George, Utah.  In 1966 she moved to Kanab, where she would raise 5 children as a single parent, filling the roles of both mother and father.  She considered raising her family her greatest accomplishment and did it with resilience, courage, and a sense of pride.  Karma was a phenomenal chef and found pleasure in cooking for family and friends.  Her greatest passion in life was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whom she cherished and loved dearly.  She was a proud member of the LDS Church, and her hobbies included reading, puzzles, games, and enjoying a bowl or 2 … of chicken noodle soup.  Karma led a quiet, simple life full of meaning and purpose and family meant the world to her.  Karma was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Elsa, son Troy, son-in-law Karl, granddaughters Jessica and Nicole, sister Gladys, and brother Gary.  She is survived by sons: Bill (Maria), Shaun (Christy), Rick, and daughter TeriJo (Karl); 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters LaVerd (Gordon), Kathy (Easton), and Marie; and brothers Varl (Priscilla), Robert (Bonnie), Van (Margaret), Duane, and Wilford; along with many nieces and nephews who loved and will miss her, yet know she is celebrating a joyous reunion with many.  A private family viewing was held on February 15th, 2021.  Per Karma’s request, there will be no services.  Arrangements were made through Mosdell Mortuary.  The family would like to thank Zion’s Way Home Health and Hospice for their kind, compassionate care.
