Jennie Hoyt King

 Jennie Hoyt King, age 68, passed away on February 3, 2022 in Riverton, Wyoming surrounded by family.  She was born June 10, 1953 in Panguitch, Utah to Dilworth and Elaine Hoyt.
 Jennie grew up in Alton, Utah.  She graduated from Valley High School in Orderville, Utah, and then moved north to work.  She met the love of her life, Roger King, in December of 1971 in Goshen, Utah.  They were married a short time later on January 7, 1972.  Roger and Jennie went on to have 3 children in the next few years.  Jennie was a devoted wife and mother.  They moved around in the early years of their marriage, settling in Aurora, Utah when their oldest was in 7th grade.  They stayed there until all three children had graduated High School. Months before Roger’s passing, they had moved to Grand Junction, Colorado.  Jennie then went to work for the State of Colorado in one of their group homes until she retired.  She then moved to Riverton, Wyoming where she spent her time reading, drawing, and doing puzzles.  She was enjoying her retirement.
 Jennie is survived by her mother Elaine Hoyt of Glendale, Utah; her sister Ardeth Gingrich of Sewell, New Jersey; her brother Gerry (Debbie) Hoyt of Orderville, Utah; her sister LaRue (Leon) Cox of Orderville, Utah; her three children Roger (Sara) King of Clearfield, Utah, Mary (Travis) Romero of Riverton, Wyoming, and Samual King of Alcoa, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father Dilworth Hoyt, husband Roger King, brother Eudell Hoyt, and grandson Baxter King.
 There will be graveside services held at 11:00 AM on February 19, 2022 at the Alton Utah Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary of Kanab, Utah.  There will be a lunch after the services in the Alton Ward Church.
