James “Bing” Winsor

On  Sunday, October 2nd we said goodbye to our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, and friend, James T. “Bing” Winsor.  He had been looking forward to his 79th birthday.

Bing earned his rights as a “Grumpy Old Mountain Man” with a long life of hard work, athletics, military, countless injuries, and hunting.  Bing retired from Salt River Project, Navajo Generating Station as an Instrument Technician after working there for 32 years.  His job in recent years was as Grandpa Extraordinaire.

He loved all of his family so much, and will be greatly missed.  He leaves behind him a legacy of family and the wisdom he has passed on, but also a huge hole as the world loses the kindness and mentorship that he spread to all.

Per his wishes there will be a family celebration of his life at a later date.
