Gene Otis Graham

My beloved father passed away Feb. 7, 2022. We will all miss him greatly.
Gene brought his family to Kanab in 1967 for vacation from California, we loved it so much we moved here the same year. He was the first electrician in the area. He made friends quickly and we fell in love with the people. Gene was born April 17, 1929. He was married to Mom 62 years, “his Soul Mate”. In 1953 they both became Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Dad loved hunting and fishing in Asay Creek. He also loved going door to door meeting people and sharing his belief in God’s Kingdom, mankinds only hope, because of Jesus Christ’s ransom. His favorite scripture was Revelations 21:4, “Hope of no more pain, suffering, or death.” Reference JW.org.
If you were to have met Gene he always had a smile for everyone and those lucky enough, a story.
Gene and Georgia Graham were the beloved parents of Cathy Church, and Michael Graham; grandparents to Norris Church, Jack Church, and Christian Dunlap; 13 great-grandkids and 2 great-great-grandkids.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the community for the kind help and support in these difficult times near the end of Gene’s life, especially Kanab City Police Officers when dad would call for a ride to Escobar’s, (You took him, and we love you for it), and the Zion’s Way Hospice. You gals were great.
Gene was one of a kind.
