GAIL SHARP

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, Gail Duckett Sharp passed away at the age of 86.  Gail was born to Laurence and Laura Perkins in California on March 9, 1933.  She loved and loved deeply. Life gifted her with two children and eight step-children.  She is survived by Lynn Jenkinson, Deborah Hatch, Terry Duckett, Bill Duckett Jr., Debra Reed, Cynthia Neuzil, Spencer Sharp, Mary Sharp-Davis, Margaret Miller, Martha Sharp-Halla, and their spouses.  She also left behind her much loved grandchildren, Kyler Carpenter, Justin, Brandin, and Heath Hatch and Teresa Hatch-Kabonic, her great grand, and great, great grandchildren.  All were very special to her.

Gail is best remembered by her fierce independence.  She co-owned three businesses in her life:  Advance Disposal (satisfaction guaranteed or double your garbage back) and The Record Rack, both in Bakersfield, CA, plus the New Bryce Motel in Hatch, Utah.  Gail was an excellent cook and seamstress.  She loved to waterski when she was in California and snowmobile when she was in Utah.

Gail was preceded in death by all of her husbands, but most recently her beloved Harris Sharp.  Graveside services will be in Kanab, Utah on October 26, 2019 at 1:00PM.  Her fickle finger of sassiness is pointing down on all of us:  be good or else! (Needless to say)
