Donald Wayne Tait, age 68, died May 15, 2022 at his home in Fredonia, Arizona.  He was born July 12, 1953 in Kanab, Utah.   His parents were Anna Eliza Lathim and Max Thomas Tait.  He married Lori Pratt in 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
     Don worked for ADOT for 32 years maintaining the areas roads.  During this time, and after retirement, he also worked for his adopted Savala family on their cattle ranch, a job he greatly enjoyed. He loved being in the outdoors with his family, and loved hunting, camping, and fishing.  Any time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren was worth the effort.  He also volunteered alongside his boys and grandson Jayden at the Fredonia Fire Department.
    Survivors include wife Lori Tait of Fredonia; children Derran “Hoss” (Randi) Tait of Fredonia, Brandon (Summer) Tait of Fredonia, Janna Tait (Billy Drabeck) of Ivins, and Jennifer Harmon of St. George; siblings Lesa (Phil) Moffit, Jerry (Ruth) Tait, Gordon Tait, Vern Tait, DeLene (Jim) Robertson, and Randy (Myrna) Blanchard; ten grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and one more on the way. He was preceded by his parents, brother Robert Tait, and grandson Jayden.
     Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM (AZ Time) in the Fredonia Arizona LDS Church, with viewing starting at Noon (AZ Time).  Burial will be in the Fredonia Cemetery.  Services were arranged with Mosdell Mortuary.
