DeLynn Robertson

DeLynn Robertson, 56, passed away on July 26, 2022 in Las Vegas Nevada with family by his side.
DeLynn being born the youngest boy in the family had a lot of people to look up to for guidance and inspiration. He loved playing soccer as a child, fishing in Utah with his dad but really developed an interest for mechanics thanks to his father and brothers. He found a love in tearing things apart which resulted in stealing his dads Volkswagen bug with best friend Ricky.
He went to Votech high school in Henderson Nevada and Universal technical Institute in
Arizona to hone his craft. After graduation he went to work in the gypsum mines with his father Val, where he would often work more than 40 hours a week. He married his high school sweetheart Teresa, went on to buy his first house at a young age where he raised his family. He enjoyed his work but loved to come home to his children Ryan and Cody who he always made sure had the best toys. He was never worried about himself, anything anyone would need you could rely on him, without hesitation he would give you the shirt off of his back. He didn’t like
when he thought people were being taken advantage of and could be seen miles away with tires smoking speeding into the parking lot to give the assist. If he wasn’t watching NASCAR cheering on his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt you could find him watching football giving very loud coaching advice to his to favorite team the Raiders. In his last days he was happy to learn of the birth of his first grandchild Sawyer and see a picture of her which lit up his eyes, although they couldn’t meet in person only in spirit she now has one amazing guardian angel.
DeLynn will be truly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his, father Val Robertson, mother Phyllis Robertson and brother Danny Robertson. He leaves behind two children Ryan Robertson, Cody Robertson (Heather Robertson), granddaughter Sawyer Robertson, and former wife Teresa Robertson. He also leaves behind four siblings Brenda Cox,
Richard Robertson, Michael Robertson (Jana Robertson), Nikki Wagner (Brad Wagner), and his nephew, nieces and extended family

I’ll love and miss you forever little brother. You were the example of what all little boys should be. You were sweet, mischievous very smart and such a handsome little guy. As an adult you were responsible, kind and generous. You would always give a hug or kiss to family even though we were never a hugging bunch. You loved your boys and tried to do all you could for them and now you have the most beautiful little granddaughter to watch over. I know mom, dad and Danny are so happy to see you. It’s Dannys birthday today , Aug,1. When you wish him a happy birthday, wish him one for me. Give mom and dad a big hug for me. Until I see you again little brother.❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
