Carolyn Fern Anderson-Avenido

A remarkable and special daughter of our Heavenly Father has been called home. Our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Carolyn F. Avenido passed away November 17, 2021. She left peacefully sometime early Wednesday morning. She had been at home on comfort care last Tuesday after having a severe stoke the previous Saturday.

Carolyn enjoyed playing Volleyball while in high school and Graduated from West Hollywood High class of 1953. She was married to Ronald Arthur Feiling Sr. from Sep 6th, 1954 to 1974 and became the beloved mother of Ronald Feiling Jr., Joyce Feiling, Eric Feiling, Diana Demke, Michael Feiling, and Cyndi Heritage. She was preceded in death by her daughter Joyce (1981) and Great-grandchild Archer (2019). Also, as a wonderful Grandmother to 13 Grandchildren and Great-grandmother to 19 Great-Grandchildren, her memory will live on in all of us who are here because of her and all others whose lives she also touched.

Carolyn lived in the Los Angeles area and worked for Baxter Pharmaceuticals until she retired in 1994. She then spent her following years in Alton, Utah enjoying her time around family and friends as a valued member of the town community. We all enjoyed laughs with her and remember how much she loved a good movie, reading a book, and playing family games with us. We will also always remember her companion of many years, Mittens her cat.

We know Grandma Carolyn will be watching over all of us and will be in the loving embrace of her family and the Lord until we all meet again.

A Viewing and Funeral service will be held for Carolyn at the Latter-Day Saint Chapel in Alton 11 West 1st Street, Alton Utah, on Monday November 22nd, 2021 at 12 Noon. There will be a viewing from 11 to 11:45 am prior to the Funeral.
