On the early afternoon of March 20th, 2023, after a long battle with dementia, Annette Bons Barlow, age 66, our mother, sister, grandmother, “Aunt Nette,” passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by family.

Annette was born to Theodore George and Rosanna Jane Bons on December 21st, of 1956.

Annette had a passion for teaching all levels but most especially first grade. She has touched many lives. She was well known for her ability to teach the little children how to read. She had a deep love for family and took pride in showing off her children and grandchildren wherever she went.

She had a profound love for the gospel of Jesus Christ and firmly believed in its fullness as restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Isaac, daughters-in-law, Robyn and Barbara, children, Levi and Barbara Ann. She is survived by her 9 biological children, Isaac (Laura, Valarie), Carling (Cindy), James (Sarah, Robyn), Thomas (Mariah, Rhoda, Lenora, Barbara, Hannah), Ezra, Emilee (Jedd), David (Carol), Maryellen (Adrian), and Manti; in addition to her sister-wife Dorothy and 22 more children, her brothers, Doug and David, as well as many nieces and nephews. Annette has been blessed with 87 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren to date.

A public viewing will be held Wednesday, March 29th, from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Holm Heritage Center located at 1046 North Carling St. Hildale, Utah, 84784. Funeral services will be held the following day, Thursday the 30th, at 1:00 PM, with a viewing preceding at 11:00 AM, at the same location. The interment will take place at Terra Verde Memorial Gardens, 2280 South Richard St. Centennial Park, Arizona, 86021.
