Anna May Nielsen returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Anna is survived by her husband of 45 years, Clinton Dale Nielsen, of Kanab, UT. Anna was born in Pintura, Utah on March 28, 1944. She attended Hurricane High School. She met Clint in St George, UT. They were married and their marriage was later sealed at the temple in Mesa, AZ.
Her family consists of her husband, Clint; 3 children, Tom (Sherece) Nielsen of LaVerkin, Cindy (Craig) Barlocker of Enterprise, and Alice (John) Meanea of Cedar City. She is survived also by one brother, Keith Bacon and two sisters, Barbara Redmond and Helen Adams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J Bacon and Harriet Oma Parkinson along with her brother, Robert J Bacon.
A viewing will be held at the Kanab 1st Ward Building – 1435 S McAllister Drive, Kanab, UT on Sunday evening, February 2, 2020, from 6:00 to 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020, at 11:00AM with a visitation prior to the service from 9:30 to10:30AM. Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery, under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
