ANJOLEAH PLEDGER

Anjolea Pledger was born July 26, 2007 to Joseph Dean Pledger and Sherri Michelle Bistline in St George, UT. She passed away January 2, 2020 as a result of a tragic vehicle accident.

Anjoleah’s character was so angelic. She nurtured children younger than her, also her older siblings, animals, and even adults. She was always concerned that everyone was taken well care of around her.

“Anjo”, as everyone calls her, enjoyed almost daily, a routine of singing and music in her home. She really took to it, and loved to sing, with her father and siblings. She was just getting really good at the piano, and also played the clarinet in her school band.

Anjo attended school at Greenwood Junior High in Midland, TX where she lived most her life. She enjoyed making friends, and all her classes were her favorite as she led a straight A record! She was heavily involved in the newspaper, as well as on the volleyball team. Her friend Payten said, “When Anjo walked into a room it lit up with sunshine. She was always happy and kind. She loved playing the clarinet, and was usually always 1st chair! A girl was being bullied, and Anjo wrote the girl a nice note. That really helped this girl. Anjo was a great friend!”

Anjo was truly a peacemaker, and so full of love for everyone in her family, school, and community. She will be missed by multitudes of people whose lives she affected in her short life.

Anjoleah is survived by her father Joseph Dean Pledger, her siblings Dannah Jo Pledger, Jaden Craig Pledger, Brooklyn Dawn Pledger, and Katelyn Janae Pledger, her grandmothers, Hannah Cooke Pledger and Charlett Zitting Bistline.

A funeral service will be held for Sherri Bistline and her daughters, Savannah and Anjoleah Pledger, at 1:00PM on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Kanab Center – 20 N 100 E, Kanab, UT with the viewing starting at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Isaac Carling Cemetery – 500 Township Ave, Colorado City, AZ.
