Angie Sherwood McDonald, aged 45, peacefully passed away April 21, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born July 22, 1977 in Nephi, Utah to Kim and Alleen Sherwood. She married her best friend and soulmate Cody McDonald on April 14th 1995 in Kanab, Utah.
Angie started elementary school in Nephi, Utah and finished her education in Kanab, Utah. While living in Kanab, Angie enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hunting, and spending time with her family. She always remembered and loved fishing at Pine Lake with her Grandparents; later she shared those same experiences with her own family.
July 4th, 1995, Angie and Cody started their family by welcoming their first son Darren, followed by their daughter Shaylee, another son Dakota, and completing the McDonald family with their youngest daughter Sidney. She was always proud of her children and supported them in all their sports and activities.
Angie was always close with her siblings who knew she would always be there for them. The McDonald household was always open to all, including nieces and nephews, who knew they could stay for hours or days on end whenever they needed.
While Angie and Cody were raising their children, Angie worked numerous jobs, mostly in retail where she enjoyed the small town community.
Angie was very excited for the upcoming events in her family, including the wedding of her son Dakota and her son Darren, accompanied by the addition of two granddaughters with one grandchild on the way.
Angie fought a courageous battle for years living with Crohn’s disease. With Cody by her side for every step of the way, she always knew she was loved. While Cody was at work, Angie was protected by her favorite dog, Nash, who was always by her side.
Angie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Cody, and her children (as well as their spouses): Darren (Sari), of Cedar City; Shaylee of Parowan; Dakota (Aubrey), of Cedar City; and Sidney of Cedar City. Mother: Alleen Sherwood (late to Kim Sherwood) of Kanab. Siblings: Jason (Laura) of Kanab; Jeremy (Cynthia) of Kanab; Stacy (Jared) of St. George; Alisha (late to Freddy) of St. George; and Cambria (Devin) of Spring Creek.
Preceded in death by Kim Sherwood (father), Ed McDonald (father in law), Freddy Arvizo (brother in law), and Charlee Noteman (niece).

Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary of Kanab, Utah. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love and support that has been shown.
