Andrea Lord

July 6th 1944 – December 6th 2023

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Andrea L. Lord, a cherished mother, devoted wife, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on 12-06-2023. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence at the age of 79. She was born on July 6th 1944 in New Jersey to Andrew and Lucy Macksymowicz.

Andrea was the beloved wife of Russell  Lord, with whom she shared a beautiful and enduring love. Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life, raising a remarkable family of ten children – five sons, Lee, Ray, Robert, Jessie and Thomas, and five daughters, Kimberly, Sarah, Bonnie, Suzie and Brittney. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

She was a woman of incredible strength, warmth, and dedication. Her family was her world, and she poured every ounce of her energy into making her home a place of warmth, laughter, and memories. A talented cook, her kitchen was the heart of the home, where family meals were more about togetherness and love than just food.

Andrea also had a special place in her heart for her two cats, Raven and Boots, who were her constant companions and brought her immense joy. Her love for animals reflected her compassionate spirit and her belief in the kindness that connects all living beings.

Beyond her family, Andrea was a pillar in her community. She was known for her volunteer work, especially at Church, and highly involved is Boy Scouts where she touched many lives through her generosity and spirit of service.

As we mourn the loss of Andrea, we also celebrate her remarkable life and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Her legacy of love, kindness, and family unity will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched.

A memorial service to celebrate Andrea Louise Lords life will be held on 12-14-2023 at 11am at Mosdell Mortuary in Kanab Utah.

Her love, laughter, and wisdom will be dearly missed, but her light will continue to guide us forever.
