Patricia (Patsy) Topham Cutler

Patsy was born on February 7th, 1942 to Alma and Norma Topham of Paragonah Utah where she spent most of her 81 years.  She graduated from Parowan High School in 1960 then moved to Salt Lake City with her cousin (and best friend) Earlean Lefevre.  She attended school for two years and successfully received her nursing certificate.  She returned home and met Sam Cutler.  They were married February 22, 1963 and had four children.  She enjoyed waiting tables at the Parowan Café until finding her place at the Iron County Courthouse.  She worked in the Assessors office before moving to the Recorders office, where she retired as County Recorder in 2009.

Patsy is survived by three of her four children; Kim (husband Albert), Bob (wife Michelle) and Laura, nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Patsy has returned to Heaven and reunited with her beloved Sam and long-since-departed son, Paul.

She will be dearly missed by her family and anyone who was lucky enough to know her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Three Peaks Assisted Living Center and the nursing staff at the Cedar City Hospital for the amazing care and respect given to both our families and our mom. A viewing will be held at the Paragonah Ward Friday February 24th at 11:00 AM with the funeral following at 1:00 PM.

Burial will be in the Paragonah cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary

Dear Laura and family, we were both so saddened at the news of your amazing mother’s death. We certainly loved her and her spinky positivity. We are away until February 26 and so sorry we can’t be there to honor her life.
