It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Hank Crosby, who left us on December 23, 2025, in Murray, Utah. Hank was born on October 23, 1972, in Centralia, Washington. When Hank was 2 years old, his family re-located to Kanab, Utah. Hank would go on to become a legend and hero in his hometown of Kanab by playing baseball. His dream of playing in the big league was met with the same aspirations as his loving father Doug. They could always be seen together practicing daily. Their hard work paid off when Hank became the 63rd round draft pick (1991) for the St. Louis Cardinalls, as a Kanab High Senior.
Hank also earned a full ride 4 year scholarship to play college ball. He started out at College of Southern Idaho (CSI) where he played from 1991-1992 and he would later transfer to Dixie College (now Utah Tech University) where he played from 1992-1993. Hank led the nation in home runs both years while playing at Dixie and it was there that he felt most at home. Finally, he went on to play at UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) where he completed his baseball career from 1994-1995. He was listed as UNLVโs baseball letterman for both seasons.
After college Hank eventually moved to Phoenix and later to Utah where he resided until his unfortunate death. In recent years, Hank struggled with health issues that were too enormous to ignore, and his fight ended peacefully on a quiet morning in Utah. He was a man who loved his family unconditionally. His family and friends will be forever changed by having Hank in their lives and his passing shall serve as a reminder to hold your loved ones close because time is not guaranteed in life. Although our hearts are heavy with sadness, you can rest assured Hank is slugging a bat and hitting home runs again.
Hank is survived by his family that he loved more than anything including; his four children, Hailey, Hank, Miley, and Mason; his mother Carol Crosby and siblings Mardi, Kelli, Ebbi (their spouses, children, grandchildren); his father and stepmother Larry & Sandy Lusk and siblings Darcy, Todd, Mitch, Curtis, Kristen (their spouses, children, and grandchildren). He was preceded in death by many family members and close friends, including his father Doug Crosby whom he loved and cherished dearly. A service to honor Hankโs life will be held at a later date. We will have the date, time, and place published when it is decided.
His loved ones will forever cherish the wonderful memories they shared together with Hank. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this time i think they play baseball in heaven much love to all of you๐๐๐๐ต๐ต๐ต
