Betty Jo Schoppman Roundtree, age 85, died November 17, 2025 in St. George, Utah. She was born February 4, 1940 in Denver, Colorado, to Grace Katherine Greene and Melvin John Schoppman. She married Eldon Roy Roundtree, and they had 4 children. Eldon died on January 3, 2016.

Betty Jo and Eldon raised their family in Page. They were early pioneers along with both sets of parents to the Northern Arizona area, and were in from the start of the Glen Canyon Dam, the Wahweap Marina, Greenehaven, and several other areas that were developed over the years. She worked for many years at Wahweap as a general manager.

Survivors include children Jerry (Debi) Roundtree, Bryan (Renee) Roundtree, and Lisa (Dindy) Byrd; daughter-in-law Kimberly Roundtree; and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren. There are also many extended relatives from the Schoppman and Greene families. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eldon, and son Randy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10 AM in the Page Arizona LDS Stake Center, with a viewing from 9:00 AM. Burial will be in the Page Cemetery. Services were arranged with Mosdell Mortuary.
