Edward A W Bush, age 90, died September 8, 2026 in Kanab, Utah. He was born July 29, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to Helena Wisner and Gaylord E Bush. He married Joyce Cram on June 30, 1979 in Mesa, Arizona.
Ed graduated from Tucson High School and the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. After several years working for chain and independent pharmacies, Ed and Joyce bought their first drug store in Tucson. In December of 1991, they purchased Kanab Drug and worked together in the store for 20 years.
Ed was deeply dedicated to his family. He was a loyal University of Arizona Basketball fan, enjoyed reading, and had a great love and compassion for animals. He was always ready to quietly and anonymously help others, and always tried to do the right thing.
Ed is survived by his wife Joyce Bush; son John Bush; and close friends Amanda, Ashton, Enrique and Maria. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sarah.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Kanab Utah Stake Center, with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 AM. Burial will be in the Kanab Cemetery following services. Arrangements were made with Mosdell Mortuary.
