Shane Crawford, age 53, recently passed away at his home in St. George, Utah. Shane was born in Cedar City, Utah on February 12, 1971. When he was just a toddler, his family moved to Kanab, Utah, where Shane lived most his life. Shane graduated from Kanab High School, then served in the Lansing, MI mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Shane enjoyed deer hunting and looking for arrowheads, but sports and music were his passion. Everyone that knew Shane knew that he was a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan. Shane also loved the New York Yankees. Music and playing the guitar were a huge part of Shane’s life. He was very talented, although he didn’t like to play in front of too many people. Shane worked a variety of jobs, but spent the majority of his time working In Kanab for Stampin Up. Shane was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. He was a good brother and uncle and will be missed. Shane is survived by his mother, Marilyn Crawford-Bauer- Kanab, UT, sisters DeeAnn Lancaster- Washington, UT, Teresa (Tony) Barney of Cedar City, brother, Brandon Crawford of Kanab, son Skylar Hansen, and step children, Tryer and Kaisha Fox. The family would like to thank all those who have reached out with love and compassion at this time. There will be a private Celebration of Life for Shane on Friday, November 29 for family only. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the Mosdell Mortuary.
