Benjamin Barlow

Benjamin Adrian Barlow, our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, and Best Friend, has left this world on August 9th, 2025 at the tender age of 18 in the Murray hospital surrounded by his family.

With a heavy heart, we were awoke to the tragic news that our Ben had been in a fatal car accident in Salt Lake. He had so many friends, family, and co-workers as far away as the Carolina’s visit his bedside to bid him well, and if necessary, farewell.

Benjamin was born on December 7th, 2006 in his home at Centennial Park, AZ as the 1st born son to Maryellen and Adrian, and the 12th child to the family. Ben loved his family and had immense respect for his parents, and elders. He had love and admiration for the Gospel, doing all he could to do what was right.

Although he had much pride for his hair and appearance (muscles and veins included) he was constantly serving others, meeting their needs before his own. It was impossible to have a dull moment with Ben around. He was such a character and kept so many roaring in laughter. When he wasn’t studying the gospel or being with his family he enjoyed horseback riding and dirt bikes, and visiting his friends.

Ben had such a sweet tooth, chocolate milk being his go to.
He learned how to work at a young age, and learned quickly. He had a tool in one hand and his phone in the other to keep up with his many friends. He’s touched countless lives, leaving behind him so many friends.

He is survived by his parents, Dad (Adrian) Mom,(Maryellen), M.Shannon and M.Lou. His siblings as follows, Tyler(Nettie), Travis (Charity),Crystal (Aaron), Kristi (Ammon), Kimberlie (Albert),Trevor (Hopie), Gregory (Nikki), Jeremy (Katie),Timothy, Autumn (Mark), Cecilia (Jesse & Marie), Yosiah, Adrianna, Brett, Jane, Jacob, Nathan, Cynthia, Patrick, Jared, Abner, Mackenzie, Marshall, Jay, Kimball, Joshua, Jessica, Jeffrey, Delle, Jonah, Savannah, Gilbert, Callum. Along with 30 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Issac, his grandmother Annette, and many more loved ones.

Ben never came to our house but what he didn’t look up his uncle Ian and aunts and say hello. In fact the night he died he had made a point to shake hands and give hugs and say hello. We feel lucky to have had that. He was also to help and do favors if he knew we needed it. Ben will be sorely missed but I can see why the Lord has different plans for him he was a kind and gentle soul and had a lot of influence in everyone he came in contact with. He was a good friend to our kids and it’s been hard to see them lose him but I believe he is happy and doing a different work on the other side for his Father in heaven.
