Pauline Pitts

Pauline Elizabeth (Betty) Pitts, age 92, died September 14, 2018 at her home in Kanab, Utah.  She was born March 14, 1926 in Los Angeles, California to Alice Meeks and Henry Prueher. She married Donald Monroe Pitts on April 30, 1944 in Los Angeles, California.
Pauline and Don moved to Kanab from Camarillo, California in 1980.  She loved to quilt, crochet and knit. For many years, Don and Pauline participated in competitive skeet and trap shooting. They enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping with Pauline’s nephew and wife, Fred and Kathy Marshall.
Survivors include her great niece and best friend, Emili Marshall of Kanab, great niece Rebekah Herbert, great nephew Chris Marshall, great nephew Greg Waters, nieces Paula Jameson and Nancy Terrey, nephews Randy and Roger Terrey all from California and good friends the Norm and Sandy Kerr family.  She was preceded in death by her husband Don Pitts in 2001.
An interment of ashes ceremony will be held on Saturday October 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Kanab Cemetery for anyone wishing to attend. Cremation arrangements were made with Mosdell Mortuary.
