Our sweet Emma Grace Brinkerhoff passed from this life into the next on December 13, 2023 at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City after a tragic accident in her home in Toquerville, Utah. Emma Grace was born October 13th 2018 to Kari Sue and Lucas Brinkerhoff. She came home to 2 older brothers, Jaxon and Easton. She referred to them as “My Boys”
Emma Grace was a beautiful 5 year old girl with dark hair, sparkling brown eyes, and a turned up nose with a look of mischief on her face. She was a bright spot of sunshine in her family and neighborhood. She loved shopping and baking cookies with her mom, playing games with her brothers, and planing picnic lunches for her dog Bandit and stuffed animal friends. She loved giving her daddy hugs and playing nosys with him.
The world was a much more beautiful and fun place for the 5 years Emma Grace was in it. A smart and funny girl with a love of unicorns. She loved to dance and sometimes you could catch her dance performances in front of her house in the driveway where the neighborhood could watch her.
Emma Grace is survived by her Parents Kari Sue and Luke Brinkerhoff, brothers; Jaxon and Easton, grandparents; Connie & Roger Goulding, Don Brinkerhoff, and Ryan & Val Metler, great-grandmother Patsy Metler, great-grandparents Val & Mera Hoyt, great-grandmother Juanita Brinkerhoff, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a viewing Friday, December 22, 2023 from 6-8 PM at the Toquerville LDS chapel, 63 South Toquerville blvd. Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:00 to 10:45 prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Toquerville Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
