Carson William Roper was born on September 7th, 2006. Carson lit up the room when he entered it. With an innovative mind, Carson loved to fix things and problem solve. He passionately researched anything he was interested in, and then put in the hard work to be good at his many projects. Carson got his love of cars from his dad, and has been working on the El Camino with hope to drive it when he turned 16. An accomplished cook at the age of 14, Carson regularly cooked for his family. Gourmet ramen, legendary scrambled eggs, and delicious crepes. The Best Big Brother to his siblings, and wise beyond his years, Carson is great to talk to when you need advice. Carson worked at his first job this summer, covered in silver aluminum dust and a smile as he passionately worked in the family business. Due to an ATV accident on June 20th, 2021 Carson returned home to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Carson is survived by his Parents, Eric and Gabrielle Roper and his siblings Bryant, and AdriAnne of Henderson, Nevada. Great grandparents Lynn & Justine Goodfellow and Patricia & Bill Western. Grandparents Cliff & Maria Roper and aunt Angela. Sean & Lavonne Crosby, uncle Chandler, and aunties Chelsea, Cierra, Alexa, Ryanne, Chloe, Alyse & McCall. As well as his many cousins, aunts, uncles, and a squad of great friends. Carson is loved by us all, and it is our honor to carry on his memory. He will never be forgotten.
There will be a funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Kanab 2nd Ward Chapel, 604 South 100 East, with a viewing from 10:00 – 10:45 prior to the services. Burial in the Kanab Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
A Celebration of Carson’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 30th 7:00 pm, at the Arrowhead Ward Chapel, 801 Arrowhead Trail, Henderson, Nevada 89002.

I have been overwhelmed with emotions beyond my control since I received the news regarding your dear Carson. I am not able to imagine the unimaginable amount of the emotions and suffering you must be experiencing. The pain, the despair, the immense grief, the sorrow…..all and everything that you are experiencing. I hope your faith leaders can help you with the ability to face the tremendous assault this has placed upon you and your family. I pray for your ability to try to reconstruct your lives in a world without the gift that was Carson. Carson, the kid that was not normal. Sure, he was a little bit nerdy and different, but WOW, what a gift he was to this world. His difference was that he was so intelligent, so inquisitive, always striving to learn more, a funny sense of humor, he knew right from wrong, and many times the example and leader to his brother and sister. The ability to carry on a very intelligent conversation in an adult world like a 21 year old, while he was just a youngster of 14. His changing voice. He was such a different delight to be around in this world where most youth are so disconnected from reality. Yes, he was very different, and thanks to God for his difference. You know I never had children, but if I ever had a child, I would be the most blessed person in the world if I had a Carson. That is the Carson that will leave such an incredible hole in your hearts and the hearts of anyone that knew him. I know that your wonderful memories of Carson will be with you for the rest of your lives. I hope those memories help to diminish that incredible grief you are experiencing. Thank you for sharing Carson with me and the others that encountered him in their lives. All of us were made better because of knowing him.
