Angela Heaton

 Angela Winter Heaton, age 62, died May 14, 2021 at her home in Orem, Utah.  She was born March 16, 1959 in Bloomington, Indiana to Shirley Butt & Wilbur Benson “Bill” Winter. She grew up in Spokane, Washington and later moved to Blanding, Utah where her mother had grown up.  Angela went to Dixie College for her senior year of High School then earned an Associate Degree in Business at the College of Eastern Utah in December of 1978.  Four months later she met her sweetheart, Duke Winsor Heaton, and four and half months after that they were married on September 15th, 1979 in the St George LDS Temple.
 Angela had many jobs over the years but her favorite was when she was writing the  Just ask Ang column for the Southern Utah News.
 Survivors include her husband Duke; three children Garit Heaton, Kela (Jonathan) Carlson & Leschia Heaton; and four grandchildren Alia, Conner, Blake and Jace who love and miss her. 
 Funeral Services will held at 11:00 AM (AZ time) on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Moccasin Ward Chapel. Viewings will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm (Utah Time) at Mosdell Mortuary, and Saturday from 9:45 am to 10:45 am (AZ time) prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Moccasin Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.

    What a joy it was to visit with Angela. We talked quilts, children, grandchildren, Church and friendship. I will miss her happy, smiling face!
