Irene Auryette Beckwith was born 07/31/1933 to Chester & Mary Sandberg in Ely, NV. Irene moved to Page, AZ in 1961 with her husband and 4 children.  She lived in Page, AZ until 1988 when her and Jewell moved to Folsom CA. After the death of her husband Jewell in 1994, she lived with her daughter Susan in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Irene passed away on 03/30/2025.  Irene served and worked in many church callings including; Young Women’s, Relief Society, Teacher and as a Stake Missionary. Irene also served on several boards and commissions for the City of Page.  Irene loved to cook and wrote a cookbook with her daughter Susan in 2005. Everyone loved Irene’s rolls, fresh bread and pies. She entertained and cooked for many family, church and public occasions. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren cooking, visiting and playing Pinochle. She is survived by children Susan Larson, Garry Beckwith, Daniel & Michelle Beckwith, and Steven & Tina Beckwith and has 17 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Chester and Mary Sandberg, Brother; Lewis Sandberg, Sister; Dorothy Baldwin, Husband; Jewell Beckwith, and Grandson; Matthew Cole Larson. Irene was a true Page Pioneer, she had firm and true testimony of Jesus Christ, she also believed that our families can be eternal.  Irene will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Page 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 313 South Lake Powell Blvd. Burial will be in the Page Cemetery. Services were arranged with Mosdell Mortuary of Kanab, Utah.
